The next meeting of The Marches ARS will take place on the 24th of May and will consist of a talk supported with slides entitled "ABOVE HF" to be given by Peter G3SMT.

Peter is a fan of VHF and above and a long time operator on the Microwave bands.

His depth of understanding and ability to explain quite complex subjects in simple English will make for an interesting and enjoyable talk with something new to learn whatever your level of experience.

Hello and welcome to the Marches Amateur Radio Society club website. We meet every second and fourth Thursday of the Month at the Black Park miners institute very near to Chirk Mcdonalds  (please see the map at the bottom of the page for directions).

We have chosen our meeting times so as not to coincide with that of other radio clubs, and therefore allow enthusiasts to be able to attend more than one club.
